Cell Phone Repair Myths That You Need To Debunk Now

It doesn't matter if it's an iPhone or an Android, for sure, your mobile device has taken your heart by storm with its cell phone repair solutions that after some time, finding it in a defective or malfunctioning state can shatter your heart. At the spur of the moment, any user would consider phone repair although not necessarily immediately.

Some of us may have done it once or twice. We have myths about how to give first aid to our phones, our versions of the CPR (cell phone repair) using things that we can find in our pantries, at home, or in the office, which do not necessarily qualify for proper cell phone repair. We also have our fair share of what we need to do about our gadgets that may do worse than help. Here are three myths that could use some debunking.

Myth 1 Rice Can Work Miracles

If you do it soon enough, your water-damaged phone can still be revived using desiccants, which include uncooked rice. However, many phone experts argue that this process can even cause more damage when done incorrectly.

Initially, the goal is to get your phone out of the water, stat. Remove the battery, SIM cards, and memory cards that also need to dry. Disconnect the cell phone batteries, for your Android phone. That's the time you put them in a bowl of desiccants or rice overnight. Some even suggest a longer timeframe removes as much moisture as possible, although it may expose your phone to dirt and rice dust. While it may be useful in making your phone work for a few days, you should turn your phone in for cell phone water damage repair before it's too late.

Myth 2 Cracked Screens Are Tolerable

Phone screens look terrible when cracked, but some users swear by using them still. A small crack may not seem disturbing at the time of damage but can cause touch screen malfunctions, dark and dead pixels, and backlight damage over time. How your phone look can also give a wrong impression to others. Rather than delaying the necessary phone screen repair, visit the experts before display damage turns into a useless phone.

Myth 3 We Shouldn't Waste Money or Time on Cell Phone Repair

Calgary residents know that when something happens to their phones, they could always go to professional third-party phone technicians for an iPhone or Smartphone repair. However, some people remain skeptical. After all, for some reasons, cell phone companies and cellular providers may have created schemed and beliefs so strong that made consumers believe that our mobile devices are disposable. This reality explains why they make it initially difficult to buy spare and replacement parts, why extended warranties are necessary, why they offer expensive restoration services. People should know better. Push for your right to repair. When something goes wrong with your phone, bring it to a trained specialist that you can trust, and you can save time and money than buying a new device.
